The campus is close to Interstate 81, Routes 460 and 220, and is a short distance from the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, Allegheny Mountains, Smith Mountain Lake, and many historical sites including Mabry Mill, Mill Mountain Star, Appomattox, and George C. Marshall Research Library.
